We want you to love your salt — but if something’s not right, here’s how we handle returns.

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return or refund. To be eligible, items must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging.

Because our salt is a edible product, we can’t accept returns on opened packages or products damaged after delivery. We also can’t accept returns on:

  • Gift cards

  • Custom orders

  • Items bought on final sale

If we made an error, we’ll make it right. Just reach out at salty@tidalsalt.ca.

Refunds

If something’s gone wrong with your order, let us know. We’ll review your request and let you know if a refund is approved.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a few business days of approval.

Late or missing refunds

Refunds usually appear within 5–10 business days. If you don’t see yours:

  1. Check your bank or credit card account again.

  2. Contact your bank or card provider — it may still be processing.

  3. Still nothing? Email us at salty@tidalsalt.ca and we’ll help track it down.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they’re damaged or defective.

To arrange an exchange, email salty@tidalsalt.ca and include your order number and a photo if possible.
